We’ve found that waiting until puppies are older allows us to make more thoughtful, informed matches based on temperament, confidence, and development rather than assumptions made at birth.

Keeping puppies until 10 weeks allows us to provide crate training foundations, early obedience, and added structure. This gives families a smoother, more confident, and less stressful transition at home.

Deposits are non-refundable, but they may be kept on file for a future puppy or transferred to a friend or family member if your plans change. Not ready to place a deposit? That’s perfectly fine. Families are welcome to wait and see which puppies become available after trainer evaluations and early training.

No. While some puppies are well suited for working roles, temperament testing has consistently shown that the vast majority of our puppies are excellent fits for family homes.

Families with a completed puppy application who have joined the Master Reservation List are given first consideration. Final placement decisions are based on the best fit for both the puppy and the family.

Families who completed a puppy application and joined our reservation list prior to January 1, 2026 are eligible for a one-year legacy option, honored through December 31, 2026, based on availability.

• Eligible families may have the option to bring home a puppy at 8 weeks of age at the previous price of $3,500, as we have done for many years

• This option is not guaranteed and depends on puppy evaluations, temperament, and availability after trainer assessments are complete. 

• If an 8-week puppy is not available before 2027, families will transition into the updated reservation process, pricing, and timeline

• This legacy option applies only to families already on our list prior to 2026 and is not transferable.

After December 31, 2026, all families will follow the updated reservation process, pricing, and go-home timeline.
