NEW Reservation and Puppy Matching Process 2026

Please reach us at info@chestnuthilllabradoodles.com if you have further inquiries.

Why Our Process Matters

Dogs are truly amazing. Many are perfectly suited to be loving companions in family homes, offering comfort, connection, and emotional support. Others are meant to do meaningful work in service, therapy, and facility settings- incredible jobs that make a real difference in people’s lives.

At Chestnut Hill Labradoodles, we spend an immense amount of time focused on puppy development, daily structure, and intentional raising practices. Our standards and routines are designed to give each puppy the strongest possible foundation, whether their future is as a family companion or a working dog. It brings us great joy to see some of our puppies go on to fulfill these important work roles.

Over the years, temperament testing has consistently shown that the vast majority of our puppies are wonderfully suited for family homes. Our goal is to evaluate thoughtfully, train intentionally, and set every puppy up with strong early basics- giving families a smoother, more confident, and less stressful start when their puppy comes home.

Begin by reviewing our site and learning about the breed. Then complete our Puppy Application. This helps us learn more about your family, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for in a Chestnut Hill puppy. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.

After submitting your application, you can expect a phone call from us within 48 hours to discuss your application further and answer any questions.

Families whose puppy application has been approved may choose to join our Priority Reservation List by submitting a $500 deposit that is applied toward the price of your puppy.. This step is intended for families who are confident they would like to welcome a Chestnut Hill puppy and are comfortable waiting for the right match.

• The $500 deposit secures your place on our priority list

• Deposits are non-refundable, but may be kept on file for a future puppy

• Deposits may also be transferred to a friend or family member if your plans change

Joining the Master Reservation List ensures families are thoughtfully considered first when puppies become available, while allowing us the flexibility to make the best matches for both puppies and families.

Total puppy price is $5,000 (puppies will stay for 2 weeks of our Basic Puppy Training Program and go home at age 10 weeks).

As a thank-you to our returning families, we offer $500 off for second or repeat Chestnut Hill Labradoodles in the same household, waiving the deposit requirement. Please let us know if you’d like to be added to our contact list for future litter availability following trainer evaluations. Families who were on the waiting list prior to Jan 1, 2026 may elect to take puppy home at age 8 weeks $3500, or 10 weeks with Puppy Basics Training $5000.

Rather than matching puppies at birth, families are encouraged to follow along as each litter is raised. This allows time to observe early temperament traits, personalities, and development before making a final decision. Each litter will also have. Meet the Puppies date posted so that you can have an opportunity to hold each puppy before they are evaluated.

At approximately 8 weeks of age, all puppies will visit our trusted trainer, Julie Case at Ultimate Canine, for professional temperament evaluations.

• Some puppies may remain for service dog, therapy, or facility training

• The remaining puppies will return home with us at Chestnut Hill for continued socialization and begin our 2-week Puppy Basics Program. Puppies learn to sleep all night in a crate, introduction to the leash, car rides, and age-appropriate basic commands. Puppies will be expected to go home at age 10 weeks, unless enrolled in further training.

Once evaluations and early training are complete, we will post available puppies on our website and social media. Listings will include:

• Temperament highlights

• Expected go-home date

Families interested in a specific puppy may send application or email us (if application is already on file) within 24 hours of the posting to apply for that puppy. All completed applications will be considered. Families will be contacted by phone to place puppies, and placements will be finalized within one calendar day to ensure timely and thoughtful decisions for each puppy. Full payment for puppy will be due within 24 hours via online invoice through Quickbooks.

Families with a completed puppy application who have joined the Priority Reservation List will be given first consideration as well as repeat owners.

Have more questions about the matching process? Drop us a line at info@chestnuthilllabradoodles.com

All Chestnut Hill puppies now remain with us until approximately 10 weeks of age (as compared to 8 weeks old previously). During this extra 2 weeks, puppies receive our Puppy Basics Training Program:

• Crate training foundations including sleeping all night in the crate

• Basic obedience skills & intro to leash walking

• Continued structure and socialization

Puppies are expected to go home at 10 weeks of age, and go-home dates will be clearly communicated when puppies are posted. Puppies needing to stay longer will need to be enrolled in further training.

Families who completed a puppy application and joined our reservation list prior to January 1, 2026 are eligible for a one-year legacy option, honored through December 31, 2026, based on availability.

• Eligible families may have the option to bring home a puppy at 8 weeks of age at the previous price of $3,500, as we have done for many years

• This option is not guaranteed and depends on puppy evaluations, temperament, and availability after trainer assessments are complete.

• If an 8-week puppy is not available before 2027, families will transition into the updated reservation process, pricing, and timeline

• This legacy option applies only to families already on our list prior to 2026 and is not transferable.

After December 31, 2026, all families will follow the updated reservation process, pricing, and go-home timeline. All previous payments and deposits will be honored.
